“Not so sweet a topic”
Pets with diabetes commonly require lifelong treatment accompanied by special diets, exercise, and daily injections. The goal of managing your pet’s diabetes is to maintain glucose in an acceptable range while avoiding low blood sugar. Proper management and diet can help reduce and even eliminate some signs of diabetes. If your pet’s symptoms are not resolved or these goals are not met, allow one of our veterinarians to assess your pet and refine the treatment in pursuit of your pet’s diabetes management.
