Our in-house laboratory allows us to perform many types of testing, such as a complete blood count, blood chemistry, urinalysis, and many more. Preventive testing can help catch many conditions early before they become serious illnesses. Be sure to ask our veterinarians which tests your pet may benefit from during your pet’s next preventative exam.
In addition, we offer in-house cytology evaluation for lumps and bumps, bodily fluids, and abnormal fluids in the chest and abdomen. Samples are collected depending on the location of the problem and what type of tissue is involved. Typically without general anesthesia and sometimes even without sedation. Collection methods include fine needle aspiration, impression smears, skin scrapings, and swabs. Our team of veterinarians has years of experience, which allows them to make the best recommendations for your pet’s treatment.
